September 29th 2007 - 7th Annual Save Esopus Lighthouse Regatta

This year, we’re hosted by Poughkeepsie Yacht Club and Norrie Point Sailing Club.
All proceeds from entry fees donated to the Save the Esopus Lighthouse Commission.
Help to preserve the last wooden lighthouse on the Hudson River by sailing in the Regatta. $30 entry fee, Proceeds to benefit the restoration and preservation of the lighthouse.
Following the Regatta an awards ceremony with food, refreshments and cash bar will take place at Poughkeepsie Yacht club. The post race buffet for 2 people is included with each $30 boat entry. Additional crew members will be asked for a $10 lighthouse donation per head for the buffet.
Water /soft drinks are included, there will be a very reasonable PYC cash bar same as last year.
Some docking/mooring will be available at PYC, and Plenty of anchorage space available in the area between PYC and Norrie Point. You are welcome to call ahead (845) 889-4742 and make arrangements for overnight Dockage or moorings at PYC.
